Equal Opportunities Policy
King’s Park Primary School is fully committed to the principle of equal opportunity and the School takes positive steps to ensure this in all aspects of its work.
Employment
The School opposes all form of discrimination on any grounds including race, colour, nationality, ethnic or national origins, religion, disability, age, sex, marital status or sexual orientation.
Every possible step will be taken to ensure that individuals are treated equally and fairly. Decisions on recruitment will be based on qualifications and experience. Any person who believes that he or she has a grievance should pursue it through the appropriate procedure, copies of which are available from the school office.
Admissions
The school welcomes children from all sectors of the community. It opposes any form of discrimination on any grounds including race, colour, nationality or family background. Children with special needs are equally welcome and consideration is given to the requirements of the individual for his or her welfare and happiness within the school.
Admission will be based on the school's ability to provide adequately for the needs of each child within the relevant age group.
